Scott Bryan,
Pastor
to Families
with Youth and Children

Scott is
the Pastor to Families with Youth and Children at
Cornerstone Church. He oversees the children's
department for grades 1st thru 6th as well as the youth
department from grades 7th thru 12th. He is married to his wife Jamie,
and they have five children: Jessica, Lindsey, Monique,
Daniel, and Riley. Scott gave his life to the lord at a
little church in West Tulsa when he was twelve years old. After
many rough years of living in the world, Scott rededicated
his life to the lordship of Jesus in October of 1997,
and he has served the lord faithfully ever since.
Since his
rededication to the Lord, Scott has been very active in
youth and children’s ministry, serving as children’s
volunteer, and youth director at various churches in the
Tulsa area. Scott also helped Co-found an evangelistic
ministry that focused on hitting the streets of Downtown
Tulsa , and served in this ministry from 2000 to 2002.
Scott and his family were led to Cornerstone in August
of 2004, and Scott began his work in the children’s
department at Cornerstone in January of 2005.
Scott has a
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from
Southern Nazarene University. Scott also mentors in
“Going to Bat for Tulsa Kids,” a Tulsa Public Schools
mentoring program. Scott believes that teaching
children the precepts of God is the key to a healthy
church. He doesn’t just want to be a babysitter
for
kids each Sunday, but he wants to help build Biblical
foundations in them that will help them be champions and
ambassadors for Christ, not only in the future, but also
now.
Scott
enjoys watching his children play sports and excel in
academics. Scott also enjoys working out, fishing,
watching sports with friends, and spending time with
other families in his “Life Group.”
