Ryan Ramey, Pastor of Creative Arts &
Missions
Ryan
is our newest full-time staff member at Cornerstone Church.
He is the Pastor of Creative Arts & Missions. He came
on staff full-time on May 1, 2009 after several years of
bi-vocational ministry. He married his wife, Bethany, on August 3, 2007.
Ryan was saved at the age of 20 years old, and has since
served in a variety of capacities within the church
including working in student ministry for 9 years as well as worship
arts and media departments.
Ryan
has a passion to lead God’s people in worship. He led
worship at Agape Metro Church before the church merged with
Cornerstone in 2003, was the worship leader for Cornerstone Student
Ministries until fall of 2009, and now oversees the Worship
Arts ministry for Cornerstone.
Ryan
also has a heart for missions. He went on his first
international mission trip in 2005 with eight other members
from Cornerstone Church to Nicaragua. It was on that trip
that God really worked a miracle in his life. He had never
sensed a calling of God for missions and went on this trip
not knowing what to expect. A life changing experience is
what he got. Seeing over one-thousand people come to know
Jesus he knew this was only the supernatural power of God at
work. He now co-captains the Nicaragua team as Cornerstone
prepares for her fourth trip to the impoverished Central American. Ryan enjoys spending time with Bethany,
watching movies, fishing, camping, photography, playing
guitar and piano, singing, and graphic design and video.
