 I wanted to extend a personal invitation to you guys to visit our church.  Our philosophy at Cornerstone is… “Different is good.”    There are a lot of exciting things happening at my church.  I know the benefit it has added to my life – and I would love for you to just try it once.  It is a pretty relaxed atmosphere; we don’t wear coats and ties.  I don’t want you to feel pressured. But it is a great experience. It has been great for our family. Our kids love going and every week it is a high point in our life!  Let me know either way if you would like to go!

 Hope all is well with you and yours.  You have been on my mind lately and I just wanted to drop you a note and invite you out to my church.  It’s what you would call a contemporary church, which basically means that you won’t find a lot of people dressed in suits and ties on Sunday mornings.  People dress comfortable and “come as you are” is the slogan we live by. The praise and worship is passionate lots of guitar licks and drum solo’s but not “out of control crazy”, with people screaming and running up and down the aisles and laughing uncontrollably, so don’t worry about that.  The teaching is solid and relevant to the times in which we live.  It’s not a 2010 church trying to teach you to fit into a 1950’s world.  We deal with and bring to light the hard issues, like porn, blended families, and debt.  Our pastor is transparent and tells about his struggles.  He is real and you will love him.  Seriously though, I have attended this church for several years and I have seen a lot of people’s lives and hearts changed.  As our slogan says, we truly are church where “people get their lives back”.

Our church is in Sand Springs and if you need a ride because you think you may have problems finding the place, I would love for you to call me and I will come out and get you.  Also I would love to catch up and hear your thoughts after church, so I got your lunch after church. But either way let me know that you got this message and where you are at.
